Taipei is the most famous destination for tourists especially Thai people like us. It’s about three hours and thirty minutes from Bangkok to Taiwan, it doesn’t take so much time to be there. The city looks a like mini-Japan. You can learn Taiwanese culture and history from National Palace Museum, the National Taiwan Museum or National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. The convenient transportation with high speed railway, that you can take 1 day trip from Taipei to Sun Moon Lake. Even spend night life at many night markets or go shopping at Ximending.
This was my second time to visit Taipei. I took the airport MRT from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport to Main Inn Taipei at Taipei Main Station. It was about 35 minutes from the airport to the station. The hotel is very close to exit Y13. It is good location.
It was lucky that the weather was very nice. No rain all the trip. I spent the time to learn history at the National Place Museum, and took subway to Taipei Public Library Beitou Branch and Tamsui.
This time, I purchased vouchers from KKday to explore Bitou Cape in Ruifang district, New Taipei City, you can see the wider ocean view at viewpoint. It was a beautiful day. In the tour included Golden Waterfall, The New Taipei City Gold Museum and Jiufen Old Street.
Taiwan is the city of art, there are many places to indulge in art. I visited to Huashan 1914 Creative Park, Moon Bus the exhibition from the book When The Moon Forgot by Jimmy Liao. He is the famous writer and illustrator from Taiwan. I think that the readers has already known about him and his works.
The one reason that Thai people loves Taiwan that the cost of living is similar to Thailand. There are a lot of street foods and it is too inexpensive to go shopping especially sneakers. I do really love this city, nice weather, people, food, and shopping.
